Hi, I’m Meg!
I’m the bun-headed, fun-loving, Target shopping coffee connoisseur behind the lens! I am a family photographer specializing in family, maternity, and newborn photography. I am based out of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and serve the Lake County area, including Ixonia, Oconomowoc, Delafield, Pewaukee, Watertown, and the surrounding areas.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, but the title of mom and wife ranks above all. When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me entertaining my three kiddos, and my large child, commonly known as my husband.
I've always been extremely family-oriented and grew up with two little sisters, who just so happen to double as my best friends. Family functions were never complete without copious amounts of photos! As annoyed as I was at the time, I think that it transpired into my love for photography. We grew up in the Lake Country area; after college, traveling, and living in different zip codes, we all found ourselves back where it all began!
Photography found me at a young age but has morphed into a passion over the years. Between weddings, babies, and everything in between, I’ve always gravitated toward natural and candid photos. I love effortless, and organic photos that encapsulate families, and loved ones in their natural habitats, without being “posey” or staged. There’s something so beautiful about organized chaos, natural light, and families being together.
From many of my personal experiences, I know how stressful finding the “perfect” outfit can be. I’m here to help in that department as well! From my experience and education in the fashion industry, as well as the courses I’ve taken in photography, I’ve learned a lot! I’m no expert, but I’m happy to collaborate, and brainstorm with you to find the perfect look, or what’s right for you!
All too often, we moms, dads, and girlfriends are stuck behind the camera. I love having the opportunity to capture couples, moms with their babes, and candid kiddo photos. My number one goal is to make all of my clients feel as comfortable as possible while capturing effortless and beautiful photos to last a lifetime!
